Purchased Via Rail ticket to go from Vancouver to Toronto after a few days in Vancouver. Decided not to pay the expensive sleeper price and sleep in a chair. I also split up the trip by spending 3 nights in Jasper. Unfortunately the train tracks are owned by commercial trains and we had to stop every time a commercial train or 4 approached. This caused us to be 28 hours delayed by time we arrived in Winnipeg. I opted to fly to Toronto to ensure I would not miss my $99 flight to Paris. Loved Jasper.
Most important trips starting on my FIRST TRIP OVERSEAS to AFRICA IN 2006.
About Me
- Bill Passman (World Tattoo Traveler)
- After getting my first passport in 2006 and traveling to climb Kilimanjaro in Tanzania my life changed. I began the process of getting rid of all my possessions and traveling the world. Traveling to over 125 countries and all 7 continents, hostels have been my home. This "new life" has taught me what is important and it was NOT accumulating money or possessions. Traveling is the best education. I hope my blog will encourage others to travel. My World Tattoo was a way for me to express my PASSION FOR TRAVEL.
